Great Cold Emails #003
Hey - I just published the third edition of our Great Cold Emails series.
TL;DR: In 1993, journalist John Seabrook sent a cold email to one of the richest men in America—Bill Gates. Within 18 minutes, he received a reply. This is a fascinating story not just because the email is well-written (it is), but because it is one of the earlier examples of cold email. The story is about emails.
Within the piece itself, there is an important reminder about what I think should truly be your north star whenever you’re writing a cold email. Here’s the link to read.
Until next week,
- Matt
P.S. If you don’t want to receive this weekly email but still want to receive other emails from Za-zu (like product updates or invites off the waitlist), just reply to this email and let me know.
